Download Manual Patch

IMPORTANT

This manual patcher is only available for users patching from the last client to the newest client. Older versions of the client will not be supported by the manual patcher. (i.e. ver. 0.05 will not manually patch to ver. 0. 07) If the manual patcher does not work for you we suggest you download the new client.

1. Download the manual patch by clicking the button above.
2. Double-click on the patcher.
3. Select the folder where the game is installed. For most users, this folder isC:\Nexon\MapleStory

If you receive an error (canvas.dll is corrupt), please download the new client.

If you receive an error (maplestory.exe not found), this means that MapleStory is located in a different folder. Please select the correct folder.

Download HackShield Manual Patch

1. Log out of MapleStory if you are logged in.
2. Download and save HShield.zip by clicking the button below.
   Hackshield Download
3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. Find your MapleStory client folder typically located in C:\Nexon\MapleStory
5. Copy and paste the unzipped HShield folder into the MapleStory folder. Allow the folder to replace the old folder.
6. Restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.

Download BlackCipher Manual Patch

1. Log out of MapleStory if you are logged in.
2. Download and save BlackCipher.zip by clicking the button below.

3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. Find your MapleStory client folder typically located in C:\Nexon\MapleStory
5. Copy and paste the unzipped BlackCipher folder into the MapleStory folder. Allow the folder to replace the old folder.
6. Restart your computer to make sure the changes take effect.

Download Graphic Drivers

First, check your computer’s hardware specifications. On your desktop or in the start menu, place your cursor on My Computer, right-click it, and click on "Properties."

This shows the details of your computer's main board, memory, etc.
Click on Hardware -> Device Manager -> Display to see the detailed information on your graphic card.

Choose the image below that corresponds with your graphic card’s manufacturer.
